Hi Frank!
It was Günther Kresch in the VII U-558 that sank the British Armed A/S Trawler
BEDFORDSHIRE,off Cape Lockout,NC, on the East Coast of USA on 12 May -42.
All 37 crewmen were lost.
6 bodies were recovered .
4 were burried on Ocracoke Island,
in a plot deeded to the British goverment.

Rohwer:Axis Submarine successes.
