<HTML>Hi all -
I understand that a convention of the German Association of Submariners (Verband Deutscher U-Boot-Fahrer) was called in 1954 to mark the execution of Kapitän-leutnant Heinz Eck by the British in 1945; according to Michael Hadley (`Count not the dead`) 3000 attended. Can anyone point me in the direction of a full account of the occasion ?
Thanks in anticipation -
Best wishes to all
