<HTML>Hi everyone,
Another e-bay browsing session drew me across a very interesting auction, namely a WWII U-boat badge with diamonds selling for 4,000 dollars plus!!!!
Ok, I have never heard of something like this. I\'ve heard of the Kinghts Cross with Diamonds (those weren\'t actual diamonds, I know, but this is suspicious as these are real diamonds on a badge) Were these badges actually worn during the war? Were they only issued to high commanders? Did Doenitz wear one? Or is this a completely ridiculous and fraudulent auction??
Any info would be greatly appreciated. According to the bidder the official price should be around 15,000 dollars!!!
The thing is, the diamonds totally do NOT form the Zwastika, so I\'m assuming it\'s a fake.
Hope to get more answers as this is quite a neat item.
