Yes you are probably right, but commando raids are always intriguing ideas.
I have begun to wonder if the photos taken of the Brandenburgers aboard a U-boat were possible taken during their brief layover in Bergen. Does make me wonder a bit though, because I would have thought that the Brandenburgers would have been slightly more camera shy if actually on an operation Obviously nothing and nobody survived the actual sinking so they must have been taken previous to departure from Norway - unless it's another boat. Do you know of any other U-boat/Brandenburger combined operation? I know that a small raiding party were landed in North Africa once (can't remember offhand which boat it was though).
The plot thickens....
