<HTML>Blair\'s two-volume \"Hitler\'s U-boat War\" is considered to be somewhat-to-very controversial.

On the one hand, the author provides an overwhelming amount of detail covering the entire scope of the U-boat \'war\', but on the other hand there are those who take exception to either his conclusions and/or to which sources of material he used in researching the book.

Like most historians who put forth new and/or different views on an accepted version of history, those defending the status quo will strongly defend their own views. This is okay, it can only help to make the accuracy of that history more accurate.

If you are very interested in the Battle of the Atlantic, I believe that this book must be one of the ones that you read.....but *not* the only one.
