Rainer is a friend of mine and I defend his statements regarding the showing of more respect. He can defend other items well for himself, so I leave that up to him.
He said: \" Subsequent comments about my alledged defense of Capt. D. missed the point by a mile or so. I was not defending him, was not in his employ nor consider him my God --- I was objecting to the offensive and obnoxious tone of your postings.\"
That is exactly what I agree with. Rainer has a right to use his own manners and I would say they are way more respectful than those that were flaming each other with regard to Captain Duffy. I didn\'t see him calling anyone names. he defended himself after being called names.
