<HTML>Hi Jeff,
I belive Helgoland was perhaps more visited by U-boats/crews in 1WW - some good pictures have been in books of SM U-boats near the Island. I also believe a post war F.d.U. is buried there but, apart from that there is, as you say not much left. Only perhaps memories and the presence of those former U-boat men who have visited Helgoland.
