<HTML>Alex:
I recently received a book "The Enemy On Our Doorstep" that outlines the U-Boat attack on Bell Island, Newfoundland beginning September 5th, 1942. One torpedo actually hit the Scotia loading pier!
The book is a good and quick read at some 120 or so pages. Published by "Jesperson Press Limited" in St. John's, NF...39 James Lanes, A1E 3H3.
Bell Island claims to be the only North American community to receive direct attack from a U-Boat.
I can see your personal library getting much bigger!
Cheer.
