<HTML>Hi Marco,
This base was also called Nordsee III. It was built 'within weeks' of the outbreak of WW2. It was mainly used as a stop-over by U-Boats en-route as it did not have extensive facilities.
According to Jak P Mallman Showell, 'Hitler's U-Boat Bases' (ISBN 1-55750-396-6) the bunkers there were destroyed and broken up after the war. First by weapons testing and eventually by 'careful demolition'. There may not be much left intact to see now.
I recently bought this book and I highly recommend it if you are interested in the bases. Great photos with Jak's usual informative descriptions, details of construction, operations, staffing and more.
regards,
Howard</HTML>
