<HTML>A couple of summers ago, some friends and I tried to use the information in the Keats book to find the object mentioned. The problem with the position report is that 1.25 miles off the North Cape is not 95 feet of water. You need to go considerably farther out. The fishermen we had with us did not know where the "Horseback" was, but did know where Hearn Ledge (or Herring Ledge) was. We spent a couple of days searching and dove on some likely fish finder targets, one in 90 feet, but found only rocks.</HTML>
