Hello RB,
such a precise and understandable description on how these U-boats are powered plus all your other excellent postings on technical inquires about u-boats could not have been written by these fussy legal minds; so it must be a natural – science trained character such as an engineer. I believe this conclusion not to be completely unfounded. As defined in WEBSTER engineer is a person versed in the design, construction and use of engines or machines. Your a.m. lines and all the others represent a person versed in the construction and use of uboats.
