Hi Harriet,
My name is Ray Morrison and I have lived in Australia since 1971,but was born in Aberdeen in 1939.Like you I am interested in David Simpson Stephen,he was my grandfather,my mothers father.My mother is deceased,her maiden name was Betsy Simpson Stephen,born in 1909.It was by chance that I Googled ss Hogarth a couple of weeks ago and found that the wreck had been discovered.David and his crew were certainly heroes.Please contact me if you wish, as I too am looking for more details of the family.
