The best info to date is found in "Who Sank SURCOUF: The Truth
About the Disappearance of the Pride of the French Navy" by
James Rusbridger - 1991.

There are so many "This ain't no s--t" stories about SURCOUF and
the more one reads about them, the crazier they get.

James Rusbridger and retired U.S. Navy Captain Julius Grigore have the most accurate info as far as I'm concerned.
