Hi Rainer, Thanks for the info, seems given the circumstance,by putting a U-boat in a situation where if the Tanker was going to be attacked again, it would surely have, as it did come from the air, put it at risk as well. As in the majority of Air/sea confrontations the U-boat came off second best, given what little armament the U-boat carried being inappropriate for the task given. - john
