<HTML>Hi Joe,
Ying\'s question may not be important to anyone in the forum but if she posted it then she wants to know the answer.
Yes it is a delicate subject and I know that most of us would not like to think of, perhaps the bravest of the brave, being homosexual. But knowing a little of \"our friend\" Ying. I know that she is sensitive and caring and is as much interested in the personnel who manned the U-boats as she is in the technical aspects of the boats themselves. If you study a subject such as this should not the men who manned them be as important as the boats themselves?
If you are interested in the crew are not some aspects of their personal lives interesting also - eg wives, children etc. Yes, perhaps sexual orientation does go a bit far but Ying, as a regular member and contributor of this forum is entitled to a fair and unbiased answer to any question that she may care to ask.
Respectfully
