X1B Cruiser

<HTML>About once a month I go to the CA35 website to see if there are any updates on the X1B Cruiser that they have supposedly found. No updates in a very long time. What do you folks think about this project? Is it possible they actually found a sub that was never built? If it is an X1B, what would the possibilities be of raising it? What would be the ramifications of disturbing the war dead? If it is so historically important would it be possible to remove the remains and have a special service/burial for them? The wreck divers talk about deterioration of the wrecks. Maybe it is so corroded that it isn\'t possible to raise it anymore, yet on this site it has been mentioned of raising some of the scuttled ones near Europe for the metals. Just some food for thought with interest up because of the U869 documentary.</HTML>
