Japanese subs sunk off US coast in WWII

<HTML>A year or so ago when I read an article about a tanker that was sunk at the bottom of the Monterey Bay trench during WWII it mentioned another ship that was torpedoed just off of Half Moon Bay in Northern California, and the guy quoted said he also thought there was a japanese sub sitting on the bottom just off the coast at Half Moon Bay as well. I haven\'t found any compartive site about Japanese subs in WWII and where they were sunk. Does anyone know which Japnese subs might be sitting off of our coast (albeit in deep water)?

Thanks
