<HTML>Hey Willy,
I don\'t want to be on bad terms with you as I consider myself part of the younger generation as well. If anything, I encourage your postings as you seem to be very interested in u-boats. I just had to defend my friends as I do believe they are experts on the subject and don\'t deserve the heritage/country insults. You would have done the same for your friends. I\'ve been on the forum a long time and they are not just experts by personal opinion, but these guys have incredible resources. Just ask MPC, Craig, kkp or Rainer how many u-boot and WWII books and resources they have. Also, they know many u-boot crews personally. I enjoy your posts and it is good to have these discussions. I just don\'t agree with the way they go. I think we could all show each other more respect and keep away from the insults due to differing opinions, that\'s all.
Let\'s keep things friendly and please do not be discouraged to post your opinion. An argument should be seen as a good challenge and not as a fight.
I leave everyone with a statement from Einstein:
\"Desire for approval and recognition is a healthy motive, but the desire to be acknowledged as better, stronger or more intelligent than a fellow being or fellow scholar easily leads to an excessively egoistic psychological adjustment, which may become in jurious for the individual and for the community. \"
Best to all,
Fin
