Conning Tower Measurements

Hi,
I recently saw a picture of a full scale "section" of a U-Boat built for the movie ENIGMA. It was the complete conning tower,plus 20 feet of deck fore and aft,with some side detail around decking. It was constructed on a steel frame that was towable.

I've located a welder willing to reproduce this for me, but have no idea where to find construction details, measurements, or exact blueprints that are detailed enough to work from. I've had no luck trying to buy a copy of the blueprints Universal used to build the U-571 for the movie.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, where can authentic interior conning tower gauges, parts, etc. be purchased? I'm still trying to find a repro periscope.
