Hi

A question that's been on my mind for a while. I can't understand why some form of camouflage wasn't used by U boats. That is, I have never seen a photo of a camouflaged U boat. I would have thought it useful to break up the conning tower shape on surface and the boat shape from the air. I'm sure some expert on this forum can answer this question.
