In The U-boat War in the Caribbean, U 124 is mention attacking an unknown convoy, where two of the escort carry out a depth charge on her. Mohr claimed two tankers sunk, which post war cannont be indentified, of the two escort mentioned HMS Tamarisk and HMS Tailford, I have identified Tamarisk as a Flower Class corvette but cannot find any record to what Tailford was. Anyone know of this incident and of Tailford ?.
