I LISTENED ON FRIDAY NIGHT TO THE STORIES OF AN OLD FISHERMAN FROM BAARDSKEERDERSBOS NOW LIVING IN GANSBAAI WHO TOLD US THE STORIES OF UBOAT ACTIVITIES AT QUINPOINT NEAR CAPE AGULHAS. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT UNTIL I SAW THIS POSTING. HE WAS A BOY OF TEN AT THE TIME BUT CAN REMEBER HIS FATHER CALLING THEM TO LISTEN TO THE UBOUT TORPEDOES EXPLODING. APPERENTLY A SA AIRFORCE PLANE WAS SHOT AT AND DAMAGED AND HAD TO LAND AT UILENKRAALSMOND (NEAR GANSBAAI). IS THERE MEANS TO VERIFY THIS
