My uncle may well have bombed the U Boat pens in 1943 during op gardening, his Stirling bomber EE888 was never found after being reported lost( see lost Bombers web site). Sgt A.F.Hughes air gunner is his name, I am trying to find anyone still around fron 218 sqn Downham Market, Norfolk. If anyone knew my uncle please get in touch, he still has 1 sister alive who would like to know just a little more.
