I don't believe that HMS KURD was lost on one of the mines from U-218, but you could help me to keep the records straight by providing the position of the wreck. I'm fairly sure this will disprove this possibility and I can report a correction to the historian Jürgen Rohwer who wrote the reference book about the U-boat claims.
