I should be able to give you the position but perhaps not on this public forum as HMS Kurd is now a protected site and therefore classed as a war grave.
Last summer RN divers were able to retrieve the ship's bell which Ted Godding was able to see before he passed away. I believe the bell now resides in the Royal Naval museum at Portsmouth.
Perhaps you could email me through my web site and I'll do my best to supply you with this information.
