I was wondering if anyone can help me on a few matters concerning the Laconia incident and U-156.
I have heard that there is some moving footage of the U-156 and survivors from Sept 1942 taken by an amateur cameraman. Does anyone know if this actually exists and if so which archive currently has it?
Also I am hoping to interview any survivors from the Laconia who might still be living in the UK at the moment. If anyone has contacts who would be happy to talk to me I would really appreciate it.
many thanks
Alex
