Hi,Simon,
No, strangely U995 does not have the features I am talking about, but has some holes in the general area. They appear further back, ajacent to the compass housing on the sides of the casing. They look a bit like small hydroplanes and have a gap between them and the ballast tanks. If there are any detail photos of them I have not been able to find any.I am modelling U1305 and noticed that it had this feature.
