Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

just published by DER SPIEGEL about the course Germany took, before the first U-Boot became operational prior WWI.

It is title “sputter – start” refers to problems created by the navy itself before Tirpitz then finally gave his okay to construct a “Tauchboot” worth his name.

Also you find an article on U-977 about the “bull” of H`s flight and the story of having located U 869 at least.
