Hi, I scanned the Microfilm today.
Here is what I found from U-117's 1st patrol:

As far as I can see U 117 didn't bring any supplies to forces stationed in Norway.
The first mission was a combined war patrol, mine laying and supply (for other U-boats) mission.

They started in Kiel on Oct. 10th, sailed for Königsberg, later Peyse and then arrived Kristiansand S. on Oct 14.
In Kristiansand they took on board supplies, and left all "G-sachen"(?) that was not strictly necessary.
They left Kristiansand on Oct 17th and sailed up along the western coast of Norway which they left on Oct. 21.
On the 26th they reached the coast of Iceland.

During the 27th they laid mines. At noon they were in position 64° 039'N, 33° 050'W. In the early hours of the 28th they laid the last mine. At 0630 they were in AE2969 and left the area.

On November 1st at 1030 they sighted a tanker , which turned out to be Swedish. (Neumann remarks: "Schade!" ).
On Nov. 3rd they supplied U 753/von Mannstein and U 454/B.Hackländer with oil. The position is a bit unclear. In the text describing the operation someone has written position BD2155 with a pen. In the position written with a typewriter to the left in the KTB, postion AK8927 (wherever that may be) is given at noon.
In the afternoon they sighted a steamer, but were unable to get into a position for attack. (Neuman remarks: " Pech!" )
The next afternoon Nov 4th, they supplied U 753 with a further 50 CbM of oil.
In the afternoon of Nov 5th they tried to supply U 454 with more oil and U 753 with spare parts, but they had to give up because of too much sea (4 to 5).
They seemed to succeed with supplying U 753 with spare parts in the afternoon of Nov. 6th (BD 2500).
In the afternoon of Nov 8th they again tried to supply U 454. Here the print is almost unreadable, but they sure had a lot of trouble. Lt. z.S. Schwenzel was washed overboard, and later taken up (unconscious) by U 454. (BD2830)
They managed to send over their doctor, but Scwenzel died.
They managed to transfer 50 CbM to U 753, but weren't able to transfer more oil to U 454 because their transferring gear broke.
In the forenoon of Nov. 9th they had made a make-shift gear and managed to transfer oil to u 454 again. In the early afternoon they also got their doctor back.
On the 11th of Nov they transferred oil to U 402/von Forstner (BD2838), in the evening to U 381/Wilhelm-Heinrich Graf von Pückler und Limburg, in the morning of the 12th they transferred oil to U 438/Franzius and at noon U 89/Lohmann (BD 2594). In the afternoon of the 12th they took on board a patient, (Funk Gefreiter Rehwald) from U 521/Bargsten. (BD2586). In the evening they transferred oil to U 624/Graf Ulrich von Soden-Fraunhofen. (BD2585).
In the afternoon of the 13th they transferred oil to U 606/Döhler (BD3547). In the afternoon of the 14th they met U 84/Uphoff an took on board Matr. Ob. Gefr. E. Gronbach and Matr. Ob. Gefr. Szcotock. After this they started on their return journey.
On the 22nd of Nov they arrived in Lorient at 10 am.

Quite a busy patrol!
