Thanks for your post.
Yes, I believe that U-505 did stop at Baltimore during its first War Bond Tour in May and June 1945.
However, trying to find the exact details is very much like pushing water uphill!
On the other hand, in view of your interest and request for photos, etc, I wonder if I might make a suggestion?
That is, could you possibly please find the time to visit the newspaper achive in Baltimore and search through the papers from mid-May 45 to mid-June 45.
I am sure that there will be some mention of the visit - especially as the whole tour created a great deal of interest, as well as raising a great deal of money for the War Bond campaign.
I (and I suspect many others) would certainly very much appreciate whatever you can do to shed any light on U-505's visit to Baltimore, and I look forward to knowing about anything that you can discover.
