<HTML>I wrote to Gummi on this subject a few years ago. Whilst I was in Stavanger,( I think) I met a Navy diver who was in the area trying to locate a U.Boat that had according to various sources, been fitted and equiped to fire \"rockets\"
Although intersted, I didnt pursue the matter, although I now wished I had.He was planning to salve the Boat and bring it on display at the harbour.
I recall the boat was lying in 30 meters of water some where near the harbour entrance. There were also U boat pens in the area. I am vague as to the actual area, owing to the fact that I was supposed to be some where else at the time, and I ended up catching a Danish ferry back to England even though I should have been in Kiruna North Sweden. I got lost so to speak...</HTML>
