Hello,
Some more information :
De Belgian press stated yesterday that : QUOTE 1/3 of the 85 men crew could escape, in very rough sea, with a life-boat. But only one of them, Richard Ayres, 2nd officer, succeeded to reach safely the Irish coast (300 N. miles away) after 13 days. He received decorations and honors and lived until 1992. UNQUOTE.
