Hey guys,
Going to show my ignorance here, but I have not even heard of the action you are referring to and would definitely like more details if possible. Can anyone give a synopsis or should I just go for the book mentioned in the first note of the string?
Am I correct in assuming, given the name, HMAS Sydney was a heavy cruiser? What was the Kormoran, one of Germany\'s surface raiders?

Anyway, thanks for anything you can provide,
