31.03-1943 Kommandant "U 283" / 8. U-Flottille, Danzig. (Commander. Boat in training duties and working-up exercises. Accusation in preparation for defeatism. On 15.08.1943 Oblt. Heinz-Günther Scholz was relieved by Oblt. Günter Ney and Commits suicide because he regarded his career as a bungled.)
