CONTINUOUS COMMAND

My special area of interest is in the surrender of U-boats to Loch Eriboll in May 1945.
I have researched the thirty-three boats involved and have now turned to concentrate on the commanders of those boats.
One aspect of the entire U-boat service intrigues me. Which individual U-boat commander served for the longest period in one boat and remained with that boat until the end of the War?
The candidate I propose is FK Ottoheinrich Junker of U-532. He assumed command of U-532 in November 1942 and surrendered the boat from sea on 10 May 1945. Two and a half years continuous command of a very active Type IXC-40 is notable by anyone's standards.
Can any contributor suggest another contender for the long-service accolade?
Doubtless there were commanders who served for longer with one boat but who did not survive the War.
