With the assistance of U.R.'s data and some of my file information regarding U 565 (KL Franken), I have generated a web page (link below) to help clarify the "Fire incident on the Daressalam".

There are (3) documents (RED arrow on web page) in German that require translation and any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated. It is almost impossible to extract hand written text from image files accurately - standard printed text is not a problem.

Please PM me if you can help with the translation....
