Nothing regarding Kplt Muller's post-war career, but his fleshed-out Kriegsmarine service career was :-
WO (Watch Officer) U-Flotilla Emsmann May to December 1939; U-boat school, Neustadt December 1939 to October 1940; Baubelehrung (boat familiarisation) October & November 1940.
2nd Watch Officer U-69 November 1940 to January 1941.
Instructor, Torpedo School Flensburg-Murwik January 1941 to April 1942.
Supplementary Watch Officer U-145 and U-60 April 1942 to February 1943.
U-boat Commander course, U-boat handling course and 24th U-Flotilla February and March 1943.
Promoted to KapitantLeutnant 1 April 1943.
Commander U-662 10 March 1943 until boat sunk 21 July 1943. POW July 1943 to February 1944.
Repatriated and hospitalised at Glucksburg until June 1944.
Relief administrator OKM (Naval High Command), SKL (Directorate of Naval Warfare) and BdU (Befehlshaber der U-boote) - U-boat arm - June 1944 to May 1945.
There is an excellent account of prisoner interrogation of U-662 survivors at www.uboatarcvive.net/U-662INT.htm
The U-boat Museum in Cuxhaven (www.u-boot-archiv-cuxhaven.de) may well have Muller's post-war data.
