Hello Platon and many thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I have not seen the footage and look forward to further scenes from the ROV being made available. The original announcement did not give any dimensions for the size or the wreck and I will be interested to learn what the length of the wreck is. One of the images shows a structure protruding aft from the fin, parallel with the casing, this is similar to the stowed mast arrangement on O, P and R class boats. This arrangement does not appear to be a feature of U class boats. Does the ROV footage show a closer view of this feature?
