Yes, I have both of Zinnau's texts - one 3 pages long (5 in the original - "Vorläufige Chronik U 393" ) and "Das Boot U 393 "Sultan" und seine Besatzung", which is 25 pages long. There are 2 incidents described there, which I wanted to check, but had no luck in finding any info on them - so far. U 393's radio messages and 'Duikboot' info on Historisches Marinearchiv were helpful, but not about these two events - and I certainly didn't want to bother anyone here with silly questions about these highly unimportant things.

I know one of the U 393's crew members, Rudolf Schneider, wrote a book a few years ago, but I haven't been able to locate it anywhere yet (or find its exact title). :/ Perhaps something could be found in there. Who knows...
