Hi Derek, regarding misleading data of U570 this applies to photographs as well. David Westwood [The type VII U-Boat] page 17 shows her tied up at a British port, as stated in the caption. However Robert C. Stern [U-Boats of World War Two, volume one], on page 53 shows U570 at the same location in a photograph clearly taken soon after the one in Westwood's book, but the war sensor has deleted the background details, the caption however stating she is at Reykjavik.
