Type XIV U 490 Equipment

Hello everyone, Thanks to this excellent website, i have learned a lot about U boats! I have just recently learned that the U490 was equipped with a schnorchel. If I understand correctly it was so thr diesel engines could operate while the boat was submerged. Since the 490 was the last milk cow to be built, I would assume it would also have had the latest radar and other and listening devices as well? Would this be correct and if so what would they have had? Thanks
