U96 Ring

Hello,

I was just given a ring as a Christmas gift. I was told it was bought from a private collector and would like to know if it is real, and any other information that may be available. The ring is silver in color and has a rectangular face with the emblem and U96 on it. On one side it has what appears to be Front written on it. and on the other side it appears to say Keif or possibly Reif. Any help would be very appreciated.
