This officer is listed as taking command of U921 when the C/O Kpt W. Leu was lost during a crash dive on 24.05.44 and returned the boat on 26.05.44, however according to Busch the only listed Hans-Joachim Neumann became a POW on 04.08.1942 when his command U372 was sunk. There being no further details of him. Was he returned in a prisoner exchange? John
