Hi Richard, I also wondered about this change, according to Deutsche U-boote, the attack by the corvettes brought up oil and wreckage. In his review Mr Niestle states this attack was against a non sub contact, but he does not suggest it was against another U-boat. I don't know the distance between the two listed loss sites, but wonder if it was possible U1200 was so damaged by the corvettes she managed to survive until sinking at her new recorded loss position?. Also is there any wreck at the first attack by the corvettes?. Good luck with your search John
