What is the source for this information?
I doubt that U-348 left Hamburg after arriving there on 10 Feb 1945. The U-boat had been damaged after running aground off Hela on 27 Jan 1945 and was probably still in the shipyard for repairs when it was bombed there on 30 Mar 1945. It appears to repair a damaged type VIIC relegated to training duties had no priority.
