Thanks Walter for providing the sources of each entry.

I took a closer look on DEFE 3/550 and found the following radio messages in which U-348 is mentioned:

FROM: U 1007
AM LYING NEAR GRUEN 02 WITH U 348. AM AWAITING ESCORT.

But I found message ZTPG/353671 the most interesting:
TOI: 2052/18/3/45
FROM: ADMIRAL ( U/B )
TO: CAPTAIN ( U/B ) BALTIC & FRONT-LINE TRAINING GROUP HELA
U 348 (SCHUNK) IS TO BE SUBORDINATED TO THE 5TH U/B FLOTILLA WITH EFFECT FROM 15/3

U-348 is currently listed as having been transferred to the 5. U-Flotille on 15 February 1945, but according to the radio message above this took place on 15 March! Without doubt U-348 was transferred from Danzig to Kiel between 16 and 19 March 1945 and must have continued to Hamburg (when?), where it was destroyed in an air raid on 30 March.

But the question is if we can confirm the movements of U-348 after leaving Swinemünde on 5 February 1945. Did this U-boat really went to Hamburg, where it reportedly arrived on 10 February, then proceed back to Danzig (when?) only to return to Hamburg shortly thereafter? Or did U-348 proceed to Danzig after leaving Swinemünde and only arrived in Hamburg after the passage to Kiel in March 1945?
