This boat is listed as sinking the Empire Conveyor on 20.06.1940 at 13:15, the attack witnessed by U61, after which she recorded as having transmitted to BdU on 21.06.1940 at 00:35, a routine positional and weather report, but apparently no mention of the listed attack on Empire Conveyor. Would not a successful attack have been reported? What reasons wouldn't he report it?. May be he didn't think the attack was a success or not wanting risking a long transmission being close to the UK
