The V-2 was to be towed in it\'s own container behind a type XXI. The container would have positive boyancy, but would remain submerged with forward movement. The V-2 would be flat on it\'s side during transit, then the crew would row over on the surface and flood the back of the container causing the V-2 to come upright. Now with the container and V-2 vertical they would fuel the V-2 and row back to the type XXI to launch. The V-2 would not be launched from the deck of the actual U-Boat. At least this was the plan...three containers were built by wars end, but were just beginning tests when it all ended.
