Hi Farrimond,
This just my opinion that it would from U-110. U-110 under Fritz-Juilius Lemp had to abandon and scuttle his submarine which failed. A British boarding party got into U-110 and stripped it of everything portable including her Kuzsignale and Enigma Machine. William Stewart retrieved the Enigma Machine and books as they looked out of place in the radio room.

I would take it that the boarding party also took with them the Grid Maps and Code Books at this point. Remember, This just my opinion. All the items were turned over to the code breakers.
