U-859 POSITION

in all literature the position for this u-boat is WRITTEN as 05.46N, 100.04E.
normally this would translate to: 05° 27.600'N, 100° 2.400'E
if so, the location shown on the maps here are incorrect as they were entered as 05deg 46min., 100deg 04min.

any clarification?
